Web Links

Designers can create a list of Web-based resources and arrange these links in categories using the Web Links feature in FerrisConnect.

Upon completion of this lesson the learner will be able to:

  • Copy and paste a URL into the Web-links tool
  • Add a description to a Weblink
  • create a header for a folder

Creating Web Links

By default designers must be in the Build tab to create Weblinks (unless the course settings are modified to allow members in other roles to add links). Designers may create categories to assist with organizing Web resources. 

Activity - Add Weblinks

In the Build tab, select "Web Links". Begin by creating a new category labeled
"Professional Journals". Locate various resources for students to use including
the FLITE Library online databases.
Add at least two resources related to your discipline.
