The Selective Release tool allows the Instructor to release course content at their discretion. Release criteria can be applied to any object made available through the course homepage.

Releasing Content using Selective Release

The Selective Release tool is available within both the Build and the Teach tabs. Choose Selective Release under Instructor Tools and click the Set Release Criteria button. Options include releasing content per Date, Member, Group and Grades criteria.

Activity - Release Grades-based Content

Add the "Weekly Readings" discussion topic to your course homepage. For a review
of this process - see the syllabus assignment. Choose Selective Release from the
Instructor Tools menu in the Teach tab. Click the "Set Release Criteria" button next
to the Weekly Readings discussion topic. Select "Add Grade Book Criteria; from the
criteria drop down menu, select the Computer Skills quiz. Set the condition to
"greater Than", and the value to 10. Save the criteria and save again in the Release
Criteria page.
