This lesson will prepare the designer for modifying the Homepage and Course Menu in FerrisConnect.

Modifying the Appearance of the Homepage

In the Build Tab, click on the "Page Options" button, and select "Customize Page Display". There are five Layout Templates which can be used to modify the number of columns and the alignment of the icons on the page. There is also a Custom Layout option whereby the designer may choose their own column numbers, use of icons, and alignment. Background images may be used on the homepage, and optionally applied to other "folders" or sub-pages within the course.
